You’re in good hands.

Every new client begins with a 90-minute Initial Assessment & Introduction. We'll discuss your goals, assess how your body moves, and introduce you to the Reformer in a calm and supportive way. No previous Pilates experience is needed.
-
Not at all. Reformer Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels. The adjustable spring resistance allows every exercise to be adapted to your current strength, mobility, and experience.
-
While both follow the same Pilates principles, the Reformer uses adjustable spring resistance to support or challenge your movements. This allows exercises to be more precisely adapted to your body, making it particularly suitable for building strength, improving posture, and recovering from injury.
-
In many cases, yes. Reformer Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that can be adapted to your body and your stage of recovery. If you're under the care of a doctor, physiotherapist, or specialist, I recommend discussing your plans with them first so we can work together safely.
-
Yes. Reformer Pilates is an excellent way to stay active throughout pregnancy because the exercises are low-impact, supportive, and can be adapted as your body changes. The focus is on maintaining strength, mobility, posture, and body awareness in a safe and controlled way.
-
This depends on your recovery and whether you had a vaginal birth or a Caesarean section. In most cases, you can begin gentle movement once you've been cleared by your healthcare provider. Together we'll build strength gradually, with particular attention to your core, pelvic floor, posture, and breathing.
-
Absolutely. If your baby isn't crawling yet, you're very welcome to bring them to your session. As long as they're happy to stay in their stroller, bassinet or on a blanket, we can safely train while keeping them close by.
-
For most people, one private session per week is enough to build a strong foundation. You'll not only become stronger, but also gain a better understanding of how your body moves, allowing you to apply what you learn to everyday life and other forms of exercise.
-
Every body is different, so the number of sessions depends on your goals and where you're starting from.
During your initial assessment, we'll discuss what you'd like to achieve and I'll recommend a personalised plan. Some clients come for a few sessions to work through a specific issue, while others choose to continue as part of their long-term health and strength.
My goal isn't to keep you coming back forever. It's to help you understand your body, move better, and build strength that lasts.
